Beverly Bennett Scott-Dixon, a beloved wife, friend, and respected member of her community, passed away on July 1, 2026, at Baptist Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. She was 79 years old.

Beverly was born on July 14, 1946, in Cleveland, Mississippi, to Ernest Lee Bennett Jr and Rebecca Bennet. From her earliest days, Beverly’s warmth and kindness touched those around her, shaping a life marked by meaningful connections and steadfast dedication.

Throughout her accomplished career, Beverly worked as a banker at Trustmark for over 42 years, where she earned the trust of colleagues and clients alike. Her reliability, attention to detail, and strong work ethic distinguished her, and after many years of service, she retired, leaving behind a legacy of professionalism and care.

Beverly deeply cherished her relationships with family and friends. She is lovingly survived by her devoted husband, Larry Dixon, whose partnership brought her great joy and companionship over the years. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Lee Bennett Jr and Rebecca Bennett, both of whom she remembered with deep affection and gratitude.

Beyond her career, Beverly’s warmth extended to all who knew her. She is remembered for her genuine kindness, unwavering composure, and generous spirit—a true friend and guiding presence to many.

A visitation to honor Beverly’s life will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Brantley Phillips Funeral Home, located at 2470 Hwy 51 S, Hernando, Mississippi.
