Bobbie Jean Oswalt

Bobbie Jean Oswalt, 81 of Southaven, Mississippi passed away at home surrounded by family at 2:00pm on October 4, 2025.

She was born on August 23, 1944 to R.C. and Rachel Barnes in Greenwood, Mississippi. She spent most of her married life as a homemaker loving and caring for her family. She was a proud long time member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband W.A. Oswalt and her parents R.C. and Rachel Barnes and Step-father Paul Haney. She is survived by her daughter Angela (Oswalt) Winters(Lisa) of Southaven, Mississippi, (2) brothers; Troy Barnes(Brenda) of Love, Mississippi and Victor Barnes(Cindy) of Mississippi and (2) sisters; Glenda Faye Sanders(Lake) of Independence, Mississippi and Elaine Denley(Keith) of Hernando, Mississippi, (2) grandchildren and countless nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that all loved her and will miss her dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church 4446 Pleasant Hill Road Olive Branch, Mississippi 38654 On October 19, 2025 starting at 3:00pm
