Braedon Lang Holderfield,32, known affectionately as Lang, passed away on June 2, 2026, in Memphis, Tennessee. Born on July 20, 1993, in Little Rock, Arkansas, Lang's life was marked by deep devotion to his family, steadfast patriotism, and a strong work ethic that defined his career and character.

Lang worked as a mechanic at Rowdy's Repair Shop in Walls, Mississippi, where he was respected for his skill, dedication, and love for teaching. The shop was a second home to him where he will be missed dearly. Beyond his profession, he served proudly in the United States Army, a commitment that underscored his love for country and unwavering sense of duty. His patriotism and service were central to who he was.

Above all else, Lang loved his family. He was a devoted father who cherished every moment spent with his sons, Granger Jude Holderfield and Braedon Micah Holderfield. He found great joy in sharing his passions with them, especially taking his boys hunting and fishing — activities that brought the family closer and created lasting memories. Rivers Landrum, the mother of his children and cherished partner, stood alongside him in nurturing and supporting their boys.

Lang’s warm personality extended to his friends and loved ones, with whom he shared a close bond. He had an endearing affection for his mother, Lisa Epps, her husband Michael, and his oldest sister Brittany Rene' Oates. and was proudly connected to his sister Mary Worley, as well as his brother, Justin O’Kelly. His love also spanned generations to his niece, Aria, and nephews, M.J. and Zander, each carrying forward the family ties that Braedon held dear. Among his extended family were Dalton Holderfield and family, Bobbie Rubio and family, Angela Fawbush and family, and his grandfather, Bobby Holderfield — all of whom valued his presence deeply.

Lang was remembered as a man who loved his kids, friends his momma and sister, a phrase that captures the openness and loyalty with which he lived his life. His proudest accomplishment was the love and dedication he showed to his family, always placing them above everything else.
