Born Brenda Ann Hamilton on November 8, 1962, in Hollandale, Mississippi, she was a beacon of kindness and hard work to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Brenda attended Hamilton High School in Hamilton, MS, where she laid the foundations for the extraordinary life that would follow. Through her tireless work at the diner, Brenda touched the lives of countless patrons and colleagues. She was more than a business owner; Brenda was known for her unwavering commitment to her community and customers—each person who walked through the doors of Bazar’s Diner was welcomed with genuine hospitality and care.

A recognized leader, Brenda served as a member of the Hernando Chamber of Commerce and was known for supporting various local charities. Her contributions were not only felt within her establishment but far beyond it, as she worked continuously to uplift those around her. Her siblings, Anthony Tharp, Bo Tharp, and Donna Azar, also survive her, holding dear the countless memories they shared.

Brenda was predeceased by her beloved mother Georgia, father Mike Tharp, her daughter Susan Meredith, and her father-in-law Jimmy Love. Their memory endured in Brenda, as she honored their legacies through her acts of love and service.
