Carol Ann Gardner Mayfield

Carol Ann Gardner Mayfield, 69, passed away on March 13, 2026, at Diversicare in Southaven, Mississippi. Born on July 11, 1956, in Houston, Texas, Carol was a homemaker most of her life  marked by devotion to her family and home.

Carol was the daughter of the late Ervin and Dorris Gardner. She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Henson, and son-in-law Sean of Highlands, Texas. Carol's legacy continues through her grandchildren Johnny Joe Garcia II, Angelus Henson, and Eden Henson, as well as her great-granddaughter, Ellie Garcia.

In addition to her parents, Carol was predeceased by her son, Jason Mayfield, and her brothers, Ervin Eugene Gardner and Albert Lewis Gardner.

At this time, there are no services scheduled. Her family and friends will remember her for her kindness and the deep love she shared.

Carol Ann Mayfield’s memory will remain a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew her.
