Chandler Thomas Magee

Chandler Thomas Magee, lovingly known as “Chan Man,” passed away on September 24, 2026, after a motorcycle accident. Born on September 24, 1999, in Memphis, Tennessee, Chandler lived a life marked by devotion to the people he loved and enthusiasm for the things that brought him joy.

Chandler graduated from Southaven High School with the Class of 2018. He went on to earn his associate’s degree at Jefferson Community & Technical College in Louisville, Kentucky, and enrolled in the Toyota T-Ten Program. He was working as an Automotive Technician at Southaven Honda, building a career that reflected both his skill and his genuine interest in automobiles.

He loved motorcycles, four wheelers, and shooting guns, and he kept up with numerous automobiles on Marketplace. Those interests were a natural reflection of his energy and passion, and they were part of the life he embraced so fully. Above all, Chandler very much loved his son, his family, and his friends, and that love will remain at the heart of how he is remembered.

He leaves behind his wife, Olivia Magee, his forever love and their son, Jesse Vincent Magee. He is also survived by his father, Ron Magee; his mother, Debbie Magee; his sister, Brittney Magee; and his grandmother, Alice Magee. He will be deeply missed as well by his aunts and uncles, including Randy Moore, David Moore and his wife, Kellie, Sandy Hoots, Rick Magee and his wife, Martha, and David Magee and his wife Jane, as well as a host of cousins and friends. Each of them carries forward treasured memories of Chandler and the place he held in their lives.

Chandler was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Jesse Magee, Sanford “Hoot” Moore, and Patrick McIntyre; his grandmothers, Joyce McIntyre and great-grandmother Charleen Murphy; and his aunts, Gail Moore and Cheryl “Shug” Highfield. Their memories, together with Chandler’s, remain part of the family story that continues in love.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Heritage Church, 700 Church Rd E, Southaven, MS 38671. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Heritage Church. Interment will take place at Autumn Woods Memorial Park, 6240 Davidson Rd, Olive Branch, MS 38654.

Chandler’s life, though far too brief, was filled with love, purpose, and deep connection. He will be remembered for the way he loved his family and friends, for the life he was building, and for the many memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
