David Wayne McLendon

David Wayne McLendon, 55, of Hernando, Mississippi, passed away on October 10, 2025.

He was born on December 20, 1969 in Jackson, Mississippi, graduated from Mississippi State University and was a former Golf Course Architect for Landscapes Unlimited.

He is survived by his daughter, Meadow Clair McLendon of East Prairie, Missouri, his mother, Shirley McLendon of Hernando, Mississippi, (2) brothers, Michael McLendon and his wife Vickey of Hernando, Mississippi and Philip McLendon and his wife Michelle of Memphis, Tennessee,

(2) grandchildren and (2) nephews, Dr. Hunter McLendon and his wife Emily and Sadler McLendon and his wife Lauren.

He was preceded in death by his father, George McLendon and his grandparents, Ruth and Marlin Toney and Roswell and Pauline McLendon

The family will have a celebration of life memorial service at a later date.
