Drue William Howarth

Drue William Howarth, 59, formally of Hernando, Mississippi, was born on December 18, 1966, in Clarksdale, Mississippi and passed away on April 1, 2026, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. 

Drue graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from Delta State University, where he was also a proud member of the Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity. His career was marked by his role as the owner and operator of Premiere Video in Hernando, Mississippi, where he was respected for his professionalism and commitment to his community.

Beyond his professional achievements, Drue was deeply committed to volunteering. He generously gave his time and effort to numerous organizations, including United Way and the FedEx St. Jude Golf Classic, demonstrating his compassion and dedication to helping others.

He is survived by his children, son Alex Howarth and daughter Natalie Howarth, and his brother Walter Howarth. Drue was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Geraldine Howarth.

A memorial service to honor Drue's life will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at Brantley Phillips Funeral Home, located at 2470 Hwy 51 S, Hernando, Mississippi 3863 at 3:00 p.m. This service will provide an opportunity for family and friends to come together, cherish their memories, and pay their respects.

Respectfully, the family suggests that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the United Way, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or a charity of your choice. His memory will continue to inspire kindness and generosity in all who knew him.
