Dustin Richard Belk, born August 19, 1982, in Memphis, Tennessee, passed away on May 7, 2026. He was a loving father, and a cherished member of his community whose presence touched many lives.
Dustin graduated from the University of Mississippi, known fondly as Ole Miss, where his passion for sports and dedication to his education began to shine. He was a man who loved sports deeply, especially everything Ole Miss and the Green Bay Packers, and this enthusiasm was evident in both his personal and professional life.
His career was marked by a commitment to service and mentorship. Dustin worked for Amazon as a data technician, applying his skills with precision and care. Beyond this, he made a profound impact as a football coach and teacher at Center Hill High School and Lewisburg Middle School, where he inspired countless young individuals with his knowledge, kindness, and unwavering support.
Those who knew Dustin remember him as a man who truly loved to have fun, one who had the remarkable ability to light up any room and engage with anyone he met. Above all, he cherished his family deeply and was a devoted father to his children, David, Henry, and Sophie Belk. His wife, Emily Belk, and his brother, Chance Belk, along with Chance’s wife Misty of Independence, Mississippi, and seven nieces and nephews, continue to carry his spirit in their hearts.
Dustin was preceded in death by his parents, Aaron and Becky Belk, who no doubt look upon him with pride and love.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 3:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Nesbit, located at 1645 US-51, Hernando, Mississippi. This will be followed by a Celebration of Life at 5:00 p.m. at the same location. These gatherings will provide an opportunity for family, friends, and all who loved Dustin to honor his memory and share stories of a life well-lived.
Dustin Richard Belk’s legacy is one of enthusiasm, kindness, and dedication. He touched the lives of many through his work, his family, and his vibrant personality. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege to know him.
