Emery Faith Lewis

Emery Faith Lewis was born into this world and tenderly departed on August 21, 2026, at Baptist Desoto Hospital in Southaven, Mississippi. Though her time with us was heartbreakingly brief, the impact of her presence and the love she inspired will be cherished by all who awaited her arrival.

Emery is the beloved daughter of Laicey Vogt and Damian Lewis. From the moment they learned of her existence, Emery was surrounded by boundless anticipation and love. Her family dreamed of holding her, watching her grow, and sharing in all of life's moments. Though these dreams could not be realized in the way they wished, the love that welcomed Emery into the world will always remain.

She is survived not only by her devoted parents but also by a large and loving family. Emery’s grandparents, Danielle Anglin, Carlos Smallman, Megan Smart, Charles Smart, and Kenneth Vogt. Great Grandparents Patricia Croteau "Nana",  Mike Anglin "Pop-Pop", Michelle Anglin "MiMI", Mitch Stewart "Papa" and Rhonda Stewart "Nana", all hold her memory dear. Many aunts and uncles were ready to embrace her with warmth: Amber Rowland, Cambriella Smart, Destiney Lewis, Christian Smart and Atticus Anglin.

Emery is also lovingly remembered by those who have gone before her: her great-great-grandparents; Bobby and Joann Shettles, her uncle Michael Anglin, and her cousin Scarlett Reynolds. Their memories, carried within the family, form a tapestry of love that now includes Emery Faith.

Although Emery’s life was brief, the family will forever cherish the dreams, hopes, and love they shared for her. Emery is remembered as a cherished soul who, though she never experienced the world outside, touched the lives of all those connected to her. Her legacy is one of love, hope, and the unbreakable bonds of family.

Emery Faith Lewis will be held in the hearts of her family and loved ones forever, her memory a gentle reminder of the preciousness of each life, however fleeting.
