George Alexander Christopoulos

George Alexander Christopoulos, born on August 20, 1952, in Athens, Greece, passed away at his home in Hernando, Mississippi, on December 8, 2026. He was 74 years old.

George dedicated more than 30 years of his life to a successful career as a bartender, primarily at various casinos in Tunica, Mississippi, and at the 1st Jackpot. His engaging personality made him a well-known figure in the local hospitality scene. Friends and patrons alike will remember him as a very friendly, fun, and charming individual, famously recognized for his distinctive accent. George’s ability to connect with others quickly drew people to him, creating an atmosphere of warmth and camaraderie wherever he worked.

He is survived by his beloved son, Alex Christopoulos of Southaven, Mississippi, and his sister Kiki Skapatrakis of Greece. George was preceded in death by his parents, Alexander and Katarina Christopoulos.

George's legacy will live on through the many lives he touched during his lifetime. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

The family will have a celebration of life memorial service at a later date.
