Gina Renae Russell

Gina Renae Russell, known to many as Renae, passed away on October 16, 2026, at her home in Southaven, Mississippi. She was born on May 22, 1962, in Spokane, Washington, and will be remembered with love by all who knew her.

Renae built a life marked by hard work, care for others, and the simple joys that brought people together. She worked as a waitress and manager at IHOP, where her dedication and steady presence reflected the warmth and strength she carried throughout her life. Outside of work, she enjoyed going to concerts with friends and family, making memories through music and shared time. She also liked to crochet and make blankets, creating gifts of comfort that reflected her thoughtful and caring nature.

She is survived by her spouse, Aaron Bamburg; her daughters, Audrey Hughes and Hillary Russell; and her brothers, Jeffery Richardson and Marion Beene. In the love of her family, Renae’s life continues on, and her memory will remain a lasting part of those closest to her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gary and Patricia Richardson, and by her brother, Ronnie Moody. Their memory remained part of her story, and now she is reunited with those who went before her.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on October 21, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Brantley Phillips Funeral Home, 2470 Hwy 51 S, Hernando, Mississippi 38632. A Celebration of Life will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Brantley Phillips Funeral Home.

Renae will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for her hardworking spirit, her creativity, and the time she shared with the people she loved. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
