Glenn William Miller, beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend, passed away on August 3, 2026, at Baptist Desoto Hospital in Southaven, Mississippi. Born on March 9, 1964, in Cleveland, Mississippi, Glenn’s life was a testament to unwavering dedication to family, steadfast values, and an abiding love for the simple joys that brought him happiness.

Glenn's early years in Cleveland were marked by the warmth of a close-knit family. He was the cherished son of O.W. and Barbara Miller, both of whom preceded him in death, shaping Glenn into the kind, generous person he became. Driven by a commitment to learning and perseverance, Glenn went on to earn his bachelor's degree at Delta State University, an accomplishment that brought him great pride and laid a strong foundation for his professional life.

Throughout his career, Glenn worked as an accountant, serving in various roles that showcased not only his skill and dedication but also his integrity. His work at Tegra Medical in Hernando, Mississippi, and for Desoto County, highlighted Glenn’s reliability and expertise, earning him respect among colleagues and friends alike. After a fulfilling career, Glenn retired, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and professionalism.

Central to Glenn’s life was his family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Jeanne Lee Miller, whose partnership and companionship were the heart of his world. Glenn took immense joy in his blessed daughter, Marie, sharing with her the wisdom, humor, and warmth for which he was well known. He also leaves behind his sister, Tina Miller (Monika Skerbelis) of Pasadena, California. Glenn's extended family includes his brother-in-law, Joe Shuffield (Vickie) and family of Fayette, Alabama; sister-in-law, Cheryl Morris and her granddaughter, Julee of Greenville, Mississippi, sister-in-law,  Ruthie Wildman of Plantersville, Mississippi; Sister-in-law, Peggy Marion (Bob) and their daughter, Misty Attaway of Saltillo, Mississippi, nephew, Michael Seymore (Lexie) and niece, Amy Mobley (Brian), Jacob and Drew of Amory, Mississippi. Niece, Becky Morris, nephew, Joey Morris of Greenville, Mississippi God-niece, Joylyn Ervin and her mother, Brenda Carter of Nesbit, Mississippi, and his beloved "GG" Sue Tanksley and great niece, Zoey Morris of Leland, Mississippi. He is also fondly remembered by his long time buddies Timmy Blackstock of Greenville, Mississippi, and Renee Turnage of Southaven, Mississippi as well as a host of cousins, church members, family and friends who will miss him dearly.

Those who knew Glenn will forever remember his love for spending time with family, whether gathered at home or making memories together on trips. A passionate fisherman, he found peace and contentment in the patient rhythm of casting a line, often sharing these moments with loved ones. Glenn’s enthusiasm for sports was unmistakable—he faithfully supported the St. Louis Cardinals and the Ole Miss Rebels, always ready to cheer on his favorite teams with devotion and good-natured spirit.

Glenn’s life was rooted in the values of loyalty, generosity, and kindness. His gentle demeanor and sense of humor touched all who had the good fortune of knowing him. In celebrating his life, those who loved him will carry forward his legacy—cherishing the importance of family, savoring the pleasures of a day spent fishing, and remaining steadfast in loyalty to the teams and people he held dear.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at a visitation on Friday, August 7, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Longview Point Baptist Church, 1100 McIngvale Rd, Hernando, MS 38632. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM, also at Longview Point Baptist Church.

Glenn William Miller will be deeply missed, but his mark endures in the many lives he touched, the traditions he cherished, and the love he gave so freely.
