Joshua Lawrence Fryer

Joshua Lawrence Fryer, 21,  known to many as Josh, passed away on September 1, 2026, after a car accident. He was born on August 19, 2005, in Mobile, Alabama.

Josh was a graduate of Hernando High School, Class of 2023. He went on to work in the warehouse at Union Auto Parts in Memphis, Tennessee. He will be remembered as a young man who enjoyed the things that brought him happiness and connection, including gaming on the computer, listening to music, cars, fishing, and bowling.

Above all, Josh held an important place in the hearts of those who loved him. He is survived by his mother, Petrina Fryer, and his father, Lawrence Fryer. He is also lovingly remembered by his sisters, Christa Fryer, Tiffany Fryer, and Kayla Willingham and her husband, Justin. His memory will be cherished by his nephews, Lukas and Samwise, and by his aunt, Caitlin Fryer and her husband, Benjamin Fosselman. Each of them carries forward the love and memories they shared with Josh, and his presence will remain close to them always.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Ora B. Harp Ferrell.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Brantley Phillips Funeral Home, 2470 Hwy 51 S, Hernando, Mississippi 38632. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Brantley Phillips Funeral Home. Interment will take place on September 8, 2026, at Hernando Memorial Park Cemetery, 2805 Magnolia Drive, Hernando, Mississippi 38632.

Josh will be remembered with love for the joy he found in everyday life and for the bond he shared with his family and friends. His memory will remain a lasting blessing to all who knew and loved him.
