Mattie Faye Huff

Mattie Faye Huff, known to many as Faye, passed away on September 2, 2026, at Baptist Desoto Hospital in Southaven, Mississippi. She was born on December 18, 1958, in Jackson, Mississippi.

Faye will be remembered as a homemaker who devoted herself to caring for those around her. She also worked as a CNA in the past, a role that reflected her willingness to help others and offer comfort through her care. In her personal time, she enjoyed playing games on the computer and creating digital artwork, interests that brought her both entertainment and a creative outlet.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Randy Huff.

Faye’s memory will be cherished by her family, including her step-daughters, Jessica Montgomery and her husband, Greg and Kaitlin Hendricks and her husband Michael, her step-son, Nick Huff and his wife Theresa as well as (13) grandchildren including Breeanna and Brendan. May they find comfort in the love they shared with her and in the memories that remain.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date. Faye will be remembered with love and gratitude by those who knew her.
