Mildred Louise Marr

Mildred Louise Marr, 97, of Eudora, Mississippi, passed away on October 11, 2026, at her home with family by her side. She was born on July 11, 1929, in Cherry Valley, Arkansas, and lived a long life marked by faith, tenderness, and deep love for her family.

Mildred was a devoted homemaker for most of her life, caring faithfully for those she loved. Her home and her heart were places of comfort, and she gave of herself in quiet, steady ways that left a lasting impression on everyone around her. She was also a devoted member of Eudora Methodist Church, where her faith was an important part of her life and witness.

Those who knew Mildred will remember her as such a sweet person. She always wanted to give a hug, and her gentle spirit brought warmth wherever she went. She would often giggle during different moments in a church sermon, and that simple joy would bring a smile to everyone’s face. She was truly a blessing to those around her. In her final season, she was tired and ready to be with her Heavenly Father, and ready to be called home.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Herbert Marr; her father, Bernard Stafford; her mother, Hazel Epps Stafford; her son, Paul Marr; and her brother, Bob Stafford.

Mildred’s memory will be cherished by her family, including her daughters, Lynne Marr and Donna June Noe; her granddaughter, Kim Noe Hankins, and her husband, Joey; her grandson, Bill Noe, and his wife, Becky; and her grandson, Anthony Marr, great grandchildren; Anna, Davis and MaKayla as well as her great-great grandchildren Carley and Oaklynn. Each of them carries forward the love she gave so freely, and the memory of her sweet nature, her faithful life, and the joy she shared will remain close to their hearts.

Mildred Louise Marr will be remembered with love, gratitude, and affection. Her gentle presence, her faithful heart, and the happiness she brought to others will not be forgotten.
