Myfis Shane Wims, born on July 11, 1978, passed away on July 1, 2026. He is remembered as a deeply devoted individual whose love for family and friends shone brightly throughout his life.
Shane was the cherished son of Joann Wims and the late Myfis Cavin Wims Sr., and he was predeceased by his sister, April Marie Agner. He is survived by his loving daughter, Jasmin Wims and her mother, Kimberly Malnar, his brother, Myfis Calvin Wims Jr. and his wife Angie, his sister, Dana Hamilton and her husband Randy, his brother-in-law, Anthony Anger, fiance Rena Dungan, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
Shane went to Horn Lake High School and went on to build a respected career as a carpenter. Through his skilled hands and unwavering dedication to his craft, he left an enduring mark on those he worked alongside and on the projects he so carefully completed.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Shane found joy and relaxation in hunting and fishing, activities that reflected his appreciation for nature and the simple pleasures of life.
At the heart of Shane’s character was the love he held for his friends and family. He nurtured relationships marked by kindness, loyalty, and deep affection, creating a legacy that will be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
A funeral service honoring the life of Myfis Shane Wims will be held at Brantley Phillips Funeral Home, located at 2470 Hwy 51 S, Hernando, MS 38632, on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at 2:00 PM.
Myfis Shane Wims will be remembered for his unwavering commitment to his family, his skilled craftsmanship, and the warmth he brought into the lives of those around him. His memory will remain a source of comfort and inspiration to all who loved him. Shane was trying to better his life in the end and found God and was saved!
