Paulette Becky Wilmoth, 70, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, passed away on June 8, 2026, at Baptist Desoto Hospital in Southaven, Mississippi. Born on February 21, 1956, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, Paulette lived a life marked by dedication, love, and a contagious zest for life that endeared her to all who knew her.

Paulette devoted many years of her professional life working at K-Mart and Kroger, where her hardworking nature and kindness left a lasting impression on colleagues and customers alike. Beyond her career, she was a devoted homemaker, dedicating herself wholeheartedly to nurturing and supporting her family. Her tireless commitment to her loved ones was evident in every aspect of her life.

An avid enthusiast of car shows, Paulette found immeasurable joy in attending these events and was especially proud of entering her 1993 Mustang GT convertible into competitions. She delighted in the friendly rivalry with Roy, striving each time to best him, a passion that highlighted her spirited and competitive nature.

Paulette’s surviving family who will deeply miss her include her sons, Roy F. Wilmoth III "Trey" and his wife Michelle, and Andrew Wilmoth and his wife Kristina. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren Sophie, Tyler, Eli, and Jackson, who brought immense happiness to her life. Her sisters, Wanda McClain and Patsy McKnight, along with her brother Tim Pope, carry forward her memory and legacy.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Roy F. Wilmoth Jr., her parents Hall and Aslee Pope, and her sister Sadie Guess.

A visitation to honor Paulette’s life will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Brantley Phillips Funeral Home, located at 2470 Hwy 51 S, Hernando, Mississippi 38632. This will be followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:00 pm at the same location, where family and friends will gather to remember and celebrate Paulette’s remarkable life.

Paulette Becky Wilmoth’s legacy is one of warmth, love, and a spirited embrace of life’s joys. Her presence will be profoundly missed, but the memories she created and the love she shared will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew her.
