Rivlynn Margie Beth Lashley

Rivlynn Margie Beth Lashley, lovingly known as Rivlynn, touched the hearts of all who knew her during her brief but beautiful life. Born on February 15, 2024, in Southaven, Mississippi, she was a bright spirit whose affection for the world around her radiated tenderness and light. Rivlynn passed away on June 29, 2026, leaving behind memories that will be cherished and treasured always.

A sweet country baby girl, Rivlynn was happiest when immersed in the simplicity of nature. She delighted in the outdoors, whether running around in her favorite boots or exploring the charms of her family’s garden. The sight of green tomatoes brought her special joy, and she took immense pleasure in playing among the rows of vegetables and flowers. Her love for animals was unmistakable—she held a particular fondness for chickens and their babies, often spending hours in their company and caring for them with the boundless compassion that defined her gentle soul.

Rivlynn’s favorite color was green, a perfect reflection of her love for living things and her deep connection to the earth. She was truly a child of God, her innocence and faith shining through in every smile and act of kindness.

Though her time on earth was far too short, Rivlynn leaves behind a legacy of love that will forever be cherished by her devoted family. She is survived by her mother, Lexie Pool; her grandmother, Kristen Pool; her grandfather, Danny Pool; her great-grandfather, David Mitchell; her great-grandmother, Karen Mitchell; her great-grandmother, Dale Pool; her uncle Eli Pool, as well as  Shelly Fox, Brittney Hayes, and Jonie Pool. Each of them holds treasured memories of Rivlynn’s sweetness and exuberance, and together they mourn her loss while honoring the joy she shared with them.

Family, friends, and all who wish to pay their respects are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Brantley Phillips Funeral Home, 2470 Hwy 51 S, Hernando, MS 38632. A funeral service will follow at the same location at 1:00 PM, after which Rivlynn will be laid to rest at Eudora Cemetery, 1593 MS-301, Hernando, MS 38632.

Although Rivlynn’s presence here was brief, her memory will remain forever vivid in the hearts of those who loved her. Her gentle nature, her laughter, and her pure joy in the wonders of the world serve as enduring inspirations to all whose lives she touched.
