Robert Alan Cockrell

Robert Alan “Bobby” Cockrell, 68, passed away on September 27, 2025 at his home in Horn Lake, Mississippi. He was born on February 17, 1957 in Memphis, Tennessee, graduated from White Station High School and worked in construction, primarily for Delta Construction in Memphis, Tennessee, most of his career.

Visitation will be from 12 pm until a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 2 pm on Friday - October 3, 2025 at Brantley-Phillips Funeral Home - 2470 Hwy 51 S - Hernando, Mississippi.

He is survived by his daughter, Sharon Cockrell of Memphis, Tennessee and his four sons, Jason Ccckrell and his wife, Kristine of Coldwater, Mississippi, Shawn Cockrell and his wife, Kelsey of Horn Lake, Mississippi, Jeremy Cockrell and Justin Cockrell both of Memphis, Tennessee. He also leaves behind his brother, Bill Cockrell of Jackson, Tennessee, (6) grandchildren, Ethan, Anna, Emma, Lauren, Jonah and Julian and (2) great-grandchildren, Violet and Peyton

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Cockrell and his parents, James and Cathleen Cockrell.
