Ronald B. Brown, 78, affectionately known as Ron, was born on May 3, 1947, in Paragould, Arkansas. He passed away at his home in Hernando, Mississippi, on February 25, 2026. A dedicated family man and respected member of his community, Ron leaves behind a legacy that will be cherished by many.

Ron enjoyed a distinguished career as a retired plant manager for Bryce Corporation in Tupelo, Mississippi. His professionalism and commitment to excellence were evident throughout his years of service. Ron was also a proud veteran, having served his country with honor in the United States Army. His military service shaped his character, instilling in him values of discipline and integrity that he carried throughout his life.

Education played a significant role in Ron’s life, and he proudly graduated from Senath High School in Senath, Missouri. Following his graduation, he embarked on a life filled with love, work, and joyful experiences, cementing his reputation as a dedicated husband and father.

In his personal life, Ron had a vibrant personality that made him a joy to be around. He loved hosting barbecues, where family and friends would gather to enjoy delicious food and create lasting memories together. Traveling was also a passion of his, as he cherished the adventures he embarked upon with his loved ones. For Ron, quality time spent with family was invaluable, and he will always be remembered for the warmth and love he shared.

Ron is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Joan Brown, who stood by his side through the highs and lows of life. He is also survived by his daughter, Tamila Baker, and her husband Brad, both of Hernando, Mississippi. Ron took great pride in being a grandfather to Adrianna Rogers, and his love for her was evident to all who knew him.

Ron is preceded in death by his parents, C.B. and Bessie Brown.

A military honors memorial service to honor Ron's life will be held at the West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Memphis, Tennessee, on Thursday, March 19, 2026, starting at 11:00 AM. His family invites friends and loved ones to join them in celebrating his remarkable life and the indelible mark he left on their hearts.

Ronald B. Brown will be remembered not only for his accomplishments but for the love and laughter he brought into the lives of those who knew him. His legacy will continue to inspire and uplift, living on in the stories shared by his family and friends.
