Ronald Shane Callis, affectionately known as Shane, was born on June 1, 1970, in Jackson, Mississippi. He passed away at his home in Horn Lake, MS on February 1, 2026, leaving behind a lasting legacy in both his professional and personal life.

Shane dedicated his career to the construction industry, where he worked as a construction superintendent for Wistock Construction in Memphis, Tennessee. His expertise and commitment to quality made him a respected figure in his field, and he was known for his ability to lead projects with both efficiency and a personal touch.

A proud graduate of Eisenhower High School in Houston, Texas, Shane carried the values of hard work and determination throughout his life. His dedication extended beyond his career, and he will be remembered fondly by many friends and co-workers who appreciated his camaraderie and support.

Shane is survived by his mother, Liz Callis.  Additionally, he leaves behind a close friend, David Walker, who shared many years of friendship with him. Shane's circle included numerous friends and colleagues, all of whom will remember and miss him.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray and Elaine Thomas, who influenced his early years and will always be remembered in the hearts of those who knew him.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Shane's life will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Brantley Phillips Funeral Home in Hernando, Mississippi located at 2470 Hwy 51 South. Friends and loved ones are invited to pay their respects at3:30 PM as they come together to honor the memory of a remarkable man who touched the lives of  many.
