In Loving Memory of Sharon Rose Brown

Sharon Rose Brown 70, of Memphis TN, went home to heaven on September 1, 2026, to be reunited with her beloved husband of 47 years, Gary F. Brown—her soulmate and the love of her life.

Sharon was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend whose family meant everything to her. Her love extended beyond her own children and grandchildren to the many extra kids she welcomed into her heart and home over the years. Sharon retired from FedEx after 25 years of service. She treasured time with her children, grandchildren, and beloved dogs. She had a wonderful sense of humor and, as those who loved her would say, was “a tad bit mean”—just enough to keep everyone in line. Her laughter, honesty, and feisty spirit made her unforgettable. 

She is survived by her four children Jeremiah Brown, Crystal White (Chris), Sheila King (Chester), and Alicia York (Michael); her six grandchildren, Chester, Destinee, Lexi, Ben, Matthew, and Christopher; her loving friend, Wanda Carter; and her great-niece, Bobbie Rodriguez Romo. She also leaves behind the many additional children she loved as her own.Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Gary F. Brown; her mother, Alice Roberson; and her siblings, Alan, George, and Betty.Her family will forever cherish her love, laughter, and the memories they shared. 

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until  Celebration of Life Memorial Service beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 7, 2026 at Brantley-Phillips Funeral Home located at 2470 Highway 51 South, Hernando, MS 38632

While she will be deeply missed, they find comfort in knowing she is reunited with her soulmate, together again in heaven.Forever loved, forever missed, and always in our hearts.
