Sharon Lynn Wright

Sharon Lynn Wright, 72, born on August 6, 1953, passed away peacefully at her home in Southaven, MS, on July 17, 2026.

Sharon was a devoted homemaker, dedicating her life to creating a warm and welcoming environment for her loved ones. She found joy in crafting and was always eager to share her creations with family and friends, expressing her creativity and affection through each thoughtful project.

Above all, Sharon treasured her role as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She deeply loved her children and grandchildren, finding immense pride and fulfillment in their lives and accomplishments. Sharon is survived by her daughters, Dana Moore (Patrick) and Monica Wright (Sammie); her sons, Clint Wright (Cindy) and Jimmy Brannum (Elizabeth); her brother, Les Hooper (Tammy); and her sister, Tamra Michaud (Butch). Her cherished grandchildren Nikki, D.J., Lizzie, Daniel, Mikenzie, Mikhayla, C.J., Leland, Anthonie, Brianna, Jason, Braxton, and Charlie, as well as her beloved great-grandchildren Dallas, Mckinley, Mia, Rylie, Maverick, and Ryker, will remember her with love and admiration.

Sharon’s legacy is further enriched by the memory of her husband, Leland Wright III, and her parents, Leslie Hooper Sr. and Donna Faye Hooper, who preceded her in death.

Her family and all who knew her will remember Sharon for the love she gave so freely, for her steady presence, and for the joy she brought into their lives.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in honor of Sharon Lynn Wright. The family extends their gratitude for the support and kindness of all who grieve with them and celebrate Sharon’s enduring legacy.
