Terri Lynn Wingate Maroney, a beloved figure known for her spirit and dedication to wellness, passed away at home on January 14, 2026, after a long, hard-fought battle with cancer. Born on May 13, 1966, in Pennsylvania, she emerged from a loving family that instilled in her the values of kindness and strength.

A proud graduate of Upper Darby High School, Terri discovered her passion for yoga, which led her to become a self-employed yoga instructor. She devoted her life to helping others find balance and peace through the practice she cherished. Her nurturing spirit and commitment to her students left a lasting impact on many lives.

Terri's love extended beyond her career; she was a devoted wife to her beloved husband of 40 years, Ray Maroney. Together, they created a home filled with warmth and love. Terri took immense pride in her roles as a mother and grandmother. She is survived by her cherished children, Vincent, Lisa (Tommy), Anthony (Amy), and her beloved grandchildren, Levy, Seager, Luka, Izzy, and Madison, who brought her immense joy and pride.

Terri is also survived by her siblings: Ray (Mimi), Wendell (Mary), Bobby (Michelle), and Darlene (Mark). 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Isabel Wingate, who nurtured her with unwavering love and guidance. Their legacy lives on in Terri's spirit and the values she imparted to her family.

In Terri’s passing, we remember not just her struggle, but her strength, her compassion, and her relentless desire to uplift those around her. She will forever remain a guiding light in the hearts of her family and friends, a testament to a life well-lived and deeply loved.

The family will have a celebration of life memorial service at a later date.
