Terry Richard Streight Jr., 49, a dedicated friend to many and more commonly known as "Fat Daddy" , passed away on March 14, 2026, at Methodist Hospital in Olive Branch, Mississippi. Born on May 24, 1976, in Memphis, Tennessee, Terry touched the lives of those around him with his unwavering work ethic and warm companionship.
Terry's professional life was marked by his commitment to his craft, working independently as an HVAC technician, where his skills and reliability earned him respect and admiration from clients and peers alike. Beyond his career, Terry was cherished for his friendly nature and the genuine connections he fostered throughout his life.
He is survived by his father, Terry R. Streight Sr.; his son, Zaiden Brown; his daughter, Shelby Lynn Belanger, along with her husband, Jason; and his brother, Michael Streight, who is married to Tonya. These close family members carry forward his legacy, remembering him fondly for his kindness and strength.
Terry was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kristy Streight, and his mother, Shirley Streight, whose memories remain deeply cherished by those who knew them.
A memorial gathering to honor Terry Richard Streight Jr.'s life will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the South Pavilion 821 of the South Abutment Campground at Arkabutla Lake, located off MS-304 on Arkabutla Dam Rd. in Coldwater, Mississippi.
