Theresa Anne Mitchell

Theresa Anne Mitchell, 63, born on June 5, 1962, in Dearborn, Michigan, passed away on February 14, 2026, at Baptist Desoto Hospital in Southaven, Mississippi. She was a  retired Certified Payroll Professional, having dedicated her career to First Tennessee Bank in Memphis, Tennessee most of her career. Theresa's expertise and commitment to her work left an indelible mark on those who had the privilege to work alongside her.

Theresa was a proud alumna of the University of Memphis, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in business administration. Her education served as a foundation for her successful career, and she often spoke fondly of her years spent at the university, which shaped her into the remarkable person she became.

A beloved member of her family, Theresa is survived by her parents, Ken and Carol Bennett of The Villages, Florida. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Amanda Mitchell of Southaven, Mississippi. Her legacy continues through her brothers, Mike Bennett and his wife Marjie, Jeff Bennett and his wife Diana, and her brother David Bennett.

Theresa was preceded in death by her son, Chris Mitchell, whose memory she cherished throughout her life.

A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Christview Christian Church, located at 8100 Greenbrook Parkway, Southaven, Mississippi 38671. The service will begin at 2:00 PM.

Theresa Anne Mitchell leaves behind a legacy of professionalism and devotion to her family and friends. Her kind spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
