Wanda Jean Williams

Wanda Jean Herrington was born on July 17, 1966. On January 21, 1984, she married the love of her life, Gregory Scott Williams Sr. Together, they shared 34 years of marriage and built a life centered on love and family until Greg’s passing in November of 2018.

Wanda was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She leaves behind her three beloved children: Gregory Scott Williams Jr. (Christina), Lewis John Wesley Williams, and Kasey Michelle Williams (Daniel). She was a proud grandmother to five grandchildren, Blake, Cody, Logan, Kaitlynn, and Peyton, who brought great joy to her life.

She is also survived by her sister, Sally, and her brother, Tom.

Wanda was preceded in death by her cherished daughter, LaDora Jean; her parents, Betty Jean Jackson and Wallace DeBerry Herrington; her sisters, Doris and Janie; and her loving cousin, Ella Herrington.

Wanda Jean Williams will be remembered for her deep love for her family, her strength, and the lasting impact she made on those who knew and loved her.

Services for Wanda will be held on Saturday, March 21,2026 at the Goodman Oaks Church of Christ, 1700 Goodman Road E., Southaven, MS. Visitation will begin at 2:00 with the funeral to follow at 3:00.
