William Douglas Park, 72, an electrical engineer and respected retired Navy veteran, passed away on February 8, 2026, at the Iris Cove Health and Rehabilitation Center in Memphis, Tennessee. He was born on October 10, 1953, in Wiesbaden, Germany.

Throughout his career, William made significant contributions to the field of electrical engineering, utilizing his expertise and innovative spirit to advance technologies that impacted numerous projects. His commitment to excellence and professionalism earned him the respect of colleagues and clients alike.

William was not only a devoted professional but also a passionate supporter of the Memphis Tigers basketball team, often seen enthusiastically following their games and sharing his love for the sport with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Park; his daughter, Alisha Rios, and her husband, Pablo, of Hernando, Mississippi; his son, Stephen Park, and his wife, Taylor, of Southaven, Mississippi; his sister, Deborah Barletta, and her husband, Dave, of Rochester, New York; and his cherished grandchildren, Rayne, Sebastian, and Evan.

The family will have a celebration of life memorial service at a later date.
