William Earl Price

William Earl Price, affectionately known as Earl, passed away on January 13, 2026, at Regional One Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee. Born on June 18, 1953, in Sardis, Mississippi, he grew into a devoted family man and a respected member of his community.

Earl was a proud graduate of Warren Central High School in Vicksburg, Mississippi, which laid the foundation for a life characterized by dedication and hard work. He had a fulfilling career as a mechanic at the Desoto County Bus Shop, where his skills and tireless efforts earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and those he served.

Throughout his life, Earl cherished the time spent with his family. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Glenda Price, with whom he shared 46 years of marriage. Their partnership epitomized love and commitment. Earl is survived by his daughter, Tina Self, and her husband John, who reside in Senatobia, Mississippi. Earl was also a proud grandfather to Amanda Self and Jonathan Self, who will forever carry the legacy of his kindness and strength.

He is remembered fondly by his siblings: his brother, Chester Calvin Price of New Mexico, and his sisters, Rita Calvin of Truslow, Mississippi, and Anita Kay O'Neal of Arkabutla, Mississippi. Each sibling holds dear their memories of Earl, a man who balanced humor with hard work, and who always made an effort to lend a helping hand.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents, William and Laura Price, whose values he carried through his life, and his son, Christopher Dale Baldwin Price, whose absence was felt deeply by all who knew them.

The visitation for Earl will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service starting at 1:00 PM, both taking place at Solid Rock Assembly of God in Senatobia, Mississippi located at 16938 MS-4, Senatobia, MS.

William Earl Price’s spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, and he will be profoundly missed.
